Hi, Honey, I'm Home!

It's been a very long time between posts - the last year was "Can it get any worse than this? Yes."

So I hid under a pillow. Today the sun is shining, (if only for a few hours) and it was getting pretty musty under that pillow.

Christmas break was pretty good - got into some serious laziness and really upped the scores on my favourite bling-bling net games. Got spoiled rotten by my family on Christmas, with the funniest being a pair of brand new skis and boots - something I haven't had in almost 30 years! All we need now is snow.

El Nino is great for winter driving, but this is the first time in my life I've ever seen temperatures above freezing in January. It's not so bad being able to take the garbage out without shovelling the driveway, not having to carry shoes AND boots....but, outdoor play is out of the question. So far.

I'd really like to take those skiis out for a run or three........
